OUR MAIN OBJECTIVES ARE:

  • To achieve the best and highest quality of life for our children, adolescents, adults and relatives suffering from cancer.
  • To promote and improve the health care and assistance for Onohaematological patients.

THROUGH:

  • Articulating the mechanisms for the necessary participation in the Plans and Programmes of the Public Services as recognised spokespersons for the interests and needs of Oncohematological patients and their families.
  • To maintain and develop the programmes that A.F.O.L. has in operation, adapting each of them to the needs of cancer patients and their families.
  • Long-term monitoring of the disease within the Oncohematology and Palliative Care Area of the Dr. José Molina Orosa Hospital.
  • To claim and fight for the improvement of the Canarian Health System.
  • Integrated psychological and social care for the child, adult and family from the diagnosis and throughout the treatment.
  • Personal support for the patient through the Home Help Service.
  • Educational support for children and adolescents in combination with study centres.
  • Financial support (special cases after social reports) for the affected families (according to our
    possibilities).
  • Support recreational activities for their free development and integration into society.
